Parc national des Oiseaux du Djoudj

The Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary (PNOD), the third largest bird sanctuary in the world, is located in Senegal in the Senegal River delta, approximately 55 km north of Saint-Louis. It covers 16,000 hectares (sometimes cited as 17,000) and is a major stopover for migratory birds. Location and access: Region: Senegal River Delta, Dagana Department.
